I stayed at a friends house in Portugal for a big bjj tournament in Lisbon. It was January and about 29 degrees outside and the place had no A/C or heat. Worst 5 days of my life i had to go buy heaters lol the apartment was like 40 degrees. source, 2020 ↗

I think this is one of the coolest things I have ever read about on here. I have worked out a deal where I get free flight benefits anywhere in the world and I would love to fly out there and teach/train with you guys for a while. I am a purple belt very close to my brown and I have taken instructor training courses just so I could better teach jiu-jistu. OP if you can find someone able to house me out there I would be willing to fly out for as long as financially feasible. This cause seems great. Check out Pantera Negra. It's about 10 minutes walking from GB and has a much nicer vibe in my opinion. It is a smaller school but you will get more personal attention and probably make friends easier. I was welcomed with big smiles the first time I went to GB by the guy working the desk, once I'd paid I was ignored. After training there 3 months the head coach had still barely said a word to me. There were a few nice guys but overall the gym felt cold and impersonal. I've trained with some BPT guys and they seem like good people. Where will you be living? source, 2016 ↗
