Hills Grappling Club

Definitely a lot of women's only classes in Jiu Jitsu schools. But I also suggest you make the trek to Sydney Wrestling Academy at least to try it out there. Hills Grappling also has a women's only class I believe. Which is a bit closer. The women's BJJ community is very welcoming with people like Hope Tabak from Kumite and Fran Bavaro from Forza as well as many others organising events and representing. Partner and I made the move just over a year ago. Loved in the hills district and now live near Mandurah. We will never go back. We live within 5 mins of a beach, a river and the massive inlet, parks everywhere, major shopping centres, no traffic, people smile and say hello to you, we have a brick home on 1100sqm for $444k (equivalent property where we lived in Sydney would’ve been $1.5M+, add in proximity to beaches and that number climbs easily into multiple millions). INRG Martial Arts and Fitness at Seven Hills is great. Lots of variety and some really good Jiu Jitsu. They are a myBJJ Affiliate that has gyms all over Sydney and the world and have intercomps and inter gym events like Christmas Party etc. Definitely suggest them. source, 2022 ↗

While I lived in Surry Hills I used to train over at Legacy BJJ in Chippendale, should be right up your alley. Coaches still frequently compete, and there's also muay thai at the same location. source, 2020 ↗
