Definitely a lot of women's only classes in Jiu Jitsu schools. But I also suggest you make the trek to Sydney Wrestling Academy at least to try it out there. Hills Grappling also has a women's only class I believe. Which is a bit closer. The women's BJJ community is very welcoming with people like Hope Tabak from Kumite and Fran Bavaro from Forza as well as many others organising events and representing. honestly northwest sydney is full of bjj because a lot of middle aged middle class dads with disposable income do it. check google maps to see if there are any in rouse hill in particular, but i know for certain castle hill has about a dozen gyms alone source, 2023 ↗

I’m Vietnamese American who lived in Sydney for 2 years before moving to melb. Love melb way more. I’d say it’s about 20% cheaper than Sydney and public transportation is way better. Also great if you like cycling. In terms of community, the biggest Chinese area is in box hill. Can’t speak to community tho. I’d say your best bet is to join a club or sport.
