Arroyo Martial Arts Club Coral Gables

Where are you located in Broward? There's numerous good schools. Off the top of my head: Renzo Gracie has several affiliates. All good and friendly people. Fort Lauderdale, lake Worth, Weston, cooper city (soon) There's an alliance gym, another large respectable organization, in Coral springs. Vagner Rocha is one of the best and runs a top school. He's in Hollywood. His bff Roberto Abreu (Cyborg) has a world renown school called fight sports that is in Miami. Mattix is supposed to be good too although I know less about it. I just commented about this on another thread; most of the hate seems to be geared toward the Miami Beach School (this is where the brothers teach ) which appears to have a more cultish atmosphere. The affiliate school in Coral Gables is a much different vibe: not sure where the whole not rolling rumor started but it surely has nothing to do with the CG location because we definitely spar/roll and the instructors will participate with the students Not only do they carve out time to spar/roll in the general class they also a more advanced class and they have MMA focused striking and clinchin source, 2023 ↗

There is a VAST difference between the Miami Beach VB School and the affiliate in VB Coral Gables (formerly Miami Gracie). The Miami Beach facility (where the Valente Bros instruct ) appears to be more watered down , and this is most likely a result of the type of attendees ; there are a lot of professionals , older men and women that join simply for exercise and to learn some basic self defense techniques. I’ve also been told that their is an arrogance / cult like behavior at the MB location , it is 100% the opposite at the Coral Gables affiliate - there is 0 elitism or arrogance , the 3 I source, 2023 ↗

Tried posting a thread on this but it does not seem to be allowed content, got referred to general section. Hope someone in South Florida could help me. It is about Gama Filho. I am going to move to Miami in August and my job is going to be in the Gables area so I have an apartment in that area as a result. Been looking at MMA Gyms in the area and was looking for something that does striking and BJJ. There is a Gracie gym that only does BJJ but I want to continue to do some striking Martial Art as well. The only good one near me that comes up is Gama Filho. However, compared to say an MMA Ma source, 2023 ↗
