Yes. His talk on comparing knowing jujitsu to swimming really stuck with me. If you know how to swim and you’re dropped in deep water, there’s no problem. Knowing jujitsu is a similar phenomenon. I walked into a gym called Autore in Los Angeles. I was nervous but found it to be a very welcoming & positive environment. The two brothers who teach there are awesome and very encouraging regardless of your background or experience in training. It’s probably the most humbling thing I’ve ever done.
