My best friend is a black businessman who moved from Corvallis in August 2021 to live in Las Vegas. He hates Las Vegas because all racial groups converge to hate American blacks. Even the African immigrants! Funny thing is he is saving his money to return to Oregon. He like Beaverton, Springfield and Corvallis. But he mainly kept to himself. Because people are weird! They’ll be nosey but they don’t really Fuxx with you if you understand. Some of the white females will experiment with you sexually but after they tire of you, they discard you. People who train Krav Maga are generalists. We don’t lock down one specific style, we study boxing, BJJ, some kickboxing, etc. I’m lucky in that my instructors are also training in BJJ and Kickboxing. We had a boxing coach for a while until he moved to Las Vegas. I held my own (barely) during my black belt fight against a boxer over Memorial Day. Got my ass handed to me by a guy this past weekend during our test prep weekend. I know a couple guys from Cobra Kai, and have trained out there a few times. Super cool place, all the guys I rolled with were friendly. Gi color won't be an issue and they are big into competing. source, 2015 ↗
