Met and became friends Sean Strickland about ten years ago through scuba diving. Went on several dives and night dives with him. We even climbed down an abandoned mine shaft once and scuba dive in there. I was actually with him when he shot the dog in the hills (listen to his post fight press conference after beating Izzy). I really was lucky. How I met her was kinda crazy, so ten years ago after my summer break from college I took a "traincation" in Thailand and loved it, 2014 there were riots in Thailand and I didn't feel comfortable flying over there but Roxy finally returned to the states after being on TUF 18 so as a fan I asked if I could come train with her and I knew the worst thing she would say is no thanks. However she agreed and I was apparently the only person who asked to train with her and actually showed up! So we became besties over our love of fighting, anime, and other nerdy stuff and slowly source, 2023 ↗
