Tsunami is a really friendly place to train. Not really competition-oriented, though some people do well in local/regional comps. No contract and no uniform requirements. Los Angeles Jiu Jitsu is new and is taught by Kron Gracie black belt. Meraki is a bit away in Santa Monica. They used to have Kenny Florian teaching classes but he left for some reason. Werdum is a little farther away in Venice. There is also Rey Diogo and Delta BJJ if you're interested in training with some OGs. Renzo Gracie has an affiliate somewhere in the area. There's also the Gracie Academy, which is pretty over source, 2022 ↗
