I train at Brooklyn BJJ — Cobble Hill. I'm a Purple Belt under Josh Skyer (2nd degree black belt under Brian Glick and Gene Dunn). I can only speak good things about Skyer and Glick and the two branches where I've trained (the other one being in Myrtle Av). Other places I've trained where I can stand and test the legitimacy of my purple belt: Warriors Nation MMA in Dumbo, Highstyle Jiujitsu (Washington DC), Gracie Barra (Monterrey, Mexico), and DiamondHeart in Bushwick. I'm a very light and short person, 55kg and 1.65cm, and I can defend myself pretty well against people my rank and people mo source, 2024 ↗

Good work, man. Just stick to it. You won't even notice it and then one day you have to start diggin through old clothes to find some that fit. I'll cheer you on all the way. I'm done losing physical poundage. I want to remain at 170, but at this point its the muscle that keeps me there. One week I went to Washington DC and didn't get any gym time and I dropped to 165. My next step now is definition with a very slight mass increase. I also want to up my total body strength for performance reasons. I want to get into something like parkour or Jiu Jitsu again because it just feels good to hav source, 2012 ↗
