Tribe JiuJitsu: big franchise, basically you can find a Tribe in every major Italian city. If you train in the Milan location you can train along Federico Tisi which is one of the first Italian black belts and the owner of the school. He's one of the best teachers out there, very solid jiu-jitsu. They are always present at IBJJF competitions. Stance Sportlab: for what i saw it would say it's competition oriented but it also has beginners lessons. UFC fighters actually come here to train every now and then (Usman, Vettori). If you come to Milan you can go to Tribe jiu-jitsu which is owned by Federico Tisi. He's the first or one of the firsts Italian black belt( i don't remember) . At 48 he's a killer, he rolls with everyone without any hesitations, his way of teaching is also something very particular. You can really tell he did that his whole life. Also our small gym is nearby but it's less interesting, even if we got an excellent instructor that teaches a mix of modern and basic stuff and he's very open minded. source, 2023 ↗

In Rome go to Aeterna Jiu Jitsu, they are the largest and arguably best team there. If you can bother going to their main academy (it's very far from the centre and not well served by public transportation so it's a pain in the ass) you can find Luca Anacoreta there (he's the most accomplished Italian BB, currently invited to the next Polaris), but their other academies are also good. If you need to stay near the centre there are other, more convenient academies (Tribe and Cyclone). They are still good, with more than legit black belts, even though I am biased towards Aeterna since I used to source, 2015 ↗
