What Reddit says about TEMPLUM BCN

7 verbatim community mentions from r/bjj and city subreddits, unedited, positives and negatives alike.

I'm from Barcelona and I live there. Barcelona is super multiculture, and there's people from all over the world living there. I train BJJ, and at the place there are lots of foreigns who came to BCN alone. I've seen they've made really good friendship thorough BJJ. You should try it! it's fun! source, 2025 ↗

Jonas Andrade and Andres Rodrigues from templum in Barcelona tried to extort me I literally subbed someone once and Andres Rodrigues said "Hey I want a pair of shoes" I declined, right after that I started getting mismatched at +30kg differential Jonas Andrade kept telling me bjj is "a family" and I need to be "a contributing member of the family" The gym seems to be run by a gang?? I called out Jonas Andrade to do mma so I could ram his bitch ass skull against a wall and he declined. I made fun of his girlfriend, Martina Kasch, he did nothing about it These peo source, 2024 ↗

His gym also offered me a coaching spot and a black belt When I declined, they bought in some people at a 30kg differential specifically meant to injure me I was also harassed in barcelona multiple times after leaving the gym, they're literally a gang...a source, 2024 ↗

Barcelona: Dropped into Gullo BJJ, kind of a small school but really friendly people, good jiu jitsu. Also went to Renzo Gracie Spain outside of Tarragona (40min from BCN) and had a great time catching up with an old school MMA contemporary from the NYC area (Carlos). Ireland: Dropped into Point Blank BJJ in Galway, class was kinda rushed because they were doing a one-off self defense seminar right afterwards. I was full of fried food and beer and the instructor was a redheaded gorilla who chin strapped me for 5 minutes (great BJJ tho). Chicago: Trained at a few spots here (Redzovic, Val source, 2023 ↗

I really liked this place when I trained there: http://www.elclubdelaluchabarcelona.com/ . They really align with what's mentioned in this comment https://old.reddit.com/r/Barcelona/comments/id9xys/barra_gracie_v_templum_bcn_jiu_jitsu/g27rudk/ . Not sure what's the status with COVID-19. I don't have anything to add to what /u/IdiotTranslator regarding Gracie Barra. I haven't trained at Templum, but I know a guy who went to teach kickboxing there and he seems to love it. You could also check [MMA Barcelona](http://www.mmabarcelonateam.com/), pre-COVID they frequently had people competing at source, 2020 ↗

Here in Barcelona you have a lot of schools: \\- Barcelona Jiu Jitsu \\- Academia Oscar Corrales \\- Templum (aranha team, yan cabral) \\- El club de la lucha ... And also, you have beach, sun, and very good food. source, 2018 ↗

I'm out on vacation, but I train at Eixample Fitness in Barna, you can go there. You also have Yan Cabral's Templum, Robin Gracie in Gracie Barcelona, Chen Moraes in Anaconda BJJ, some Roger Gracie affiliate and a bunch of less known places... Plenty of BJJ places in the city source, 2017 ↗
