Street Sports Silverdale

Key words: Not busted. I think people don't appreciate what a difference top level sports is. I know I don't. But here's my taste of it: My first kickboxing gym was a MMA gym. In it, we had a UFC title card fighter (who didn't train in the public classes), and a few undercard fighters. The fighter who taught most of my classes was really good. Like, really good. I don't train at BETA, but I'll give them a solid thumbs up. They're always open to letting me drop in when I travel to DC and have a bunch of killers (esp at brown/black). I understand they do a lot of striking sports, too, if that's your thing. source, 2021 ↗

50/50 is not across the street, but easily walkable. IIRC, the Metro ride from Smithsonian to West Falls Church is about 45 minutes. The walk to 50/50 is probably 5 minutes. An evening rush hour drive from DC to 50/50 will be hell. source, 2021 ↗
