I started training in 2003, we were a small group. Back then bjj was not common where I lived. I learned slowly and first got my blue belt in 2006, then the purple one in 2009, the brown one in 2013 and finally the black one in 2018. I have been injured for the last year with a tear in the knee ligaments, but I'm almost there to 100%. ​ I have not competed much, where I lived there were no IBJJF competitions and it was difficult to move. I moved to Madrid three months ago, and I'm finally starting to get used to living here. I've made a few friends, I have a routine, I know my way around, I'm starting to get a grasp on the language, and so on. Be patient, as it might take some time to make new friends.
