Wie alt bist du? Für Erwachsene sind die Trainingsmöglichkeiten leider limitiert. Vienna Samurai hat meiner Meinung nach das Training am höchsten Level für Erwachsene. Dementsprechend hart ist aber auch das Training und auf Einsteiger wird meiner Erfahrung nach selbst beim Anfängertraining am Freitag nur wenig Rücksicht genommen. Polizei SV Sektion Judo kümmert sich sehr gut um (erwachsene) Anfänger, sind auch nicht auf Wettbewerb ausgerichtet, allerdings haben sie Probleme mit geringen Teilnehmerzahlen. Starting Judo as an adult will be very, very tough. You can try Judo Samurai Vienna, but there are no beginner sessions. You’ll just have to join in and enjoy getting thrown around for a while. Maybe the university sports club at USI will offer Judo beginner trainings, but I think they stopped during the Corona break and never picked up again. Like another person recommended, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is an off-shoot of Judo, but much more beginner-friendly. Considering distance also there are good people in lower austria. And i fought some well trained guys in bratislava when i was there with judo, they had some wrestling background so they definately also train somewhere else. Where do you live? I think it is a bad idea to train somewhere too far away as you find more and more excuses to skipp training. I am from Baden and move to Vienna currently, i heard from some good trainers depending on what your interest is exactly. Consider Dave Jacobs BJJ in Vienna / Tysons Corner. Its near Arlington (10 mins) and right off the metro. Both instructors wrestled in College and all of Dave's classes start with a judo portion.
