Judo is certainly very strong in continental Europe. I might be wrong, but I think Judo has declined in popularity in the UK and Ireland. I'm 35 now. When I was a teenager, there were a few Judo clubs in Galway (my hometown). There were two dedicated Judo schools that rented out mat space to other martial arts, a university club with good participation, and a couple of community centre clubs around the town. I always regret not training Judo when I was a teenager, I trained TKD and kickboxing instead. I wanted to train Judo in the university club, but their times clashes with my class sched source, 2024 ↗
