Cascao Evolution BJJ

I've been in the Bangtao area for about 10 days now. Trained at Revolution, Bang Tao, and Sutai. Bang Tao is a nice gym. Feels more like a fitness resort. I liked it cause we could do BJJ and lift weights(great equipment, bumper plates, GHDs, rowers, everything you'd find in a CrossFit gym). But it's crowded as fuck. There's probably 50 people. I hear you Brandon, but surely you see how the EBI OT has reached a point in its evolution where "stall to OT" has become a strategy that many are essentially choosing from the very beginning of the match. CJJ may not allow you to hang out in mount with your face unguarded, but the presence of the OT still gives an incentive to just hold out until the time comes when you get a free shot at your opponent's back. In other words, it contradicts the original purpose of EBI and sub-only rulesets, which is to create matches where the guy who "won" really feels like the guy who won. source, 2019 ↗

Cascao HQ is great for pure BJJ. Always have 3-4 blackbelts in the mat. Pretty affordable price compared to the surrounding gym for the quality you get. source, 2019 ↗

Awesome! I'll make sure to go if I end up doing the move. My intention is to check out as many schools as I can and find one I like from that. I'm a BJJ Rev team member right now, but there's no BJJ Revolution in Las Vegas. The closest I can find is a Carlson Gracie academy. source, 2015 ↗
