What Reddit says about Bondi Jiu Jitsu Academy
2 verbatim community mentions from r/bjj and city subreddits, unedited, positives and negatives alike.
In the East I have checked out all the Academies from Bondi Junction to and settled with Bondi Jiu Jitsu Academy. Smaller academy so more attention. Excellent technical instruction, strong competitors, welcoming crew of locals. Can wear whatever gear you like. Good social group outside of training. Highly recommend. source, 2024 โ

Open sparring is right by townhall station and seems to good for beginners and experienced. I was going to train there before i started working at home 80% of the time. There is a place called Garage Jiu Jitsu which I hear is good, but I've never visited. Roots is not too far away, but i've heard mixed reviews. I think there are a number of places in Bondi. Just email the club, most places do a free pass. I know Open Sparring does. Just tell them you are a complete beginner and they will take care of you source, 2021 โ
