I know the comparison is DuPont is in jest. But it's pretty unfair. DuPont was a selfish sociopath. Mo seems to genuinely love the sport, and does an awful lot for the sport. He set up and funded the Pena v Ryan superfight in order to see Ryan lose. >Jassim worked the 2007 championships in Trenton, New Jersey “as a wristband boy,” he said. He moved up to working weigh-ins at the 2009 and 2011 championships, in Barcelona and Nottingham. In 2013, the championships moved to Beijing and in 2015 to Brazil. Yeah.... Tony's Spanish is like mine.... quite creative and definitely what you would not call "good". Everyone knows what he's trying to say but he sounds like someone learning it for the first time as an adult and not someone raised with Spanish. Werdum Spanish is on point, he lived in Barcelona for a while, he was mocking Cain in Mexico because "Brown Pride" boy couldn't speak the language as well as him and I think he even called fights for[UFC Spanish broadcast](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EMSTLF0RjHQ) (that's when I knew McGregor's BJJ was legit, because Werdum was heaping praise on source, 2019 ↗

Probably my great grandfather. He was a revolutionary during WWI and WWII in Spain, and was targeted by the Nazis for traveling throughout Europe to spread anti-nazi propaganda. He published a few books, one of which was an argument as to how Wrestling and Boxing combined were the two most effective practical ways of man to man combat (at the time - this was before Jiu Jitsu, and other more modern grappling styles). He has a street and school named after him in southern Barcelona, and seemed like a genuinely interesting guy. He fled Spain to go to Chile when the SS got a little too hot on his source, 2018 ↗

As a blue belt in Jiu Jitsu and a beginner in Muay Thai, I must say my advice for a situation like Barcelona is RUN. I don't care how good my heel hooks and kicks are I'm not beating a gun or in Barcelona's case a speeding car. source, 2017 ↗
