BPT Moscavide

The only problem I find with BPT arroios is that the professor ( marcelo bernardo ) is out of the country majority of the year , atleast last year , and he just opened a new BPT school in Ipanema , Brasil . Don't know who's teaching there . The main BPT academy is too far from my place so It's not an option .... Thanks source, 2016 ↗

Check out Pantera Negra. It's about 10 minutes walking from GB and has a much nicer vibe in my opinion. It is a smaller school but you will get more personal attention and probably make friends easier. I was welcomed with big smiles the first time I went to GB by the guy working the desk, once I'd paid I was ignored. After training there 3 months the head coach had still barely said a word to me. There were a few nice guys but overall the gym felt cold and impersonal. I've trained with some BPT guys and they seem like good people. Where will you be living? source, 2016 ↗

I've trained at both, and they're both quality academies. You're right that BPT is a bit more "hardcore" atmosphere, so whether or not that's something you want is up to you. You're not really going wrong either way, but GB is probably a bit more beginner friendly. source, 2016 ↗
