Hey op, i train at zrteam vienna - which is pretty central. Out headcoach is a three stripe black belt, and three more black belts, bunch of brownbelts and purple. we have a small but really good comp team (which i am also a part of), and we compete nationally and internationally (recent Euros 23). The classes are both gi and no gi, also some wrestling and open mats on saturday. The overall vibe of the gym is pretty chill, but we roll hard still cautious. We also have a weights area and the gym can be accessed also outside of class hours. The fees are on the upper range for austria (96 for source, 2023 ↗

I live in Denmark but I know that the danish black Michael Pedersen at Good Vibes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu runs classes there. I have been to a few of his seminars in Denmark and he is really technical as well a great teacher. One my buddies who lives in another city who has also have been separately to his seminars say the same thing. Highly recommending the guy. source, 2020 ↗

There are a few good places in Vienna. E.g T ZR Gym or Alpha jiu Jitsu are well known gyms in vienna. I think there is also a gracie barria in vienna. Outside off vienna you can find the austrian mma academy where they have one of the top coaches in Austria Prof. Fernando Paulon. He earned his black belt under Maurilo Bustamante in Brazil and teaches for many years. This is where I train. Hope this Helps. Oss! Edit: in Tour gym you can soon also train with some machines, dumbells and stuff. source, 2019 ↗

>try every TKD school here in Vienna Well I mean you don't have to do *that* much. Start with the highest rated ones. Seems like there's a popular franchise in Vienna called Young-Ung TKD that is WTF. >Is it really that easy getting Black Belts in TKD than any martial arts? It depends on the school but the general trend in TKD is that it is easier to get a black belt in comparison to other styles. To look at this we have to examine what a black belt is first of all, and it the answer to that is different for every style. Even within styles, different masters hold the black belt source, 2018 ↗

If you're ever in Vienna, Austria come to train at our BJJ academy and I'll take you to a good techno show on the weekend. What we lack in density of world class black belts we make up for in good old german techno source, 2014 ↗
