Some people in this case is the African-American history museum in Washington DC.  A substantial part of the US would definitely call Royce Gracie a white supremacist or "far right" based off his tweets and the same about your average Trump supporter. What do you think the dudes Craig Jones trained with in Ukraine believe in? Absolutely keep assholes out your gym, but if we are going to start deciding who is worthy to train BJJ based on what political online mobs declare as acceptable, it's going to be a long, long, stupid road. source, 2024 ↗

I'm sorry that you think I'm full of shit because I can assure you that I'm not. While you're right on both counts, Muay Thai doesn't usually use a belt system and a black belt in BJJ by the age of 23 is tough, neither mean that I am full of shit, as you say. First, I learned Muay Thai from an ex-Marine who was a 7th Dan in American Hapkido or some crazy shit like that. He imported the belt system into his kickboxing training because it makes for a fantastic motivator, especially in a team setting. Second, it did take me a few years to earn my belt in BJJ, but I have heard of it being done abo source, 2012 ↗
