1) in italy last year used my krav maga to laugh off a walk away from a big nigerian that wanted to fight 2) in chicago two weeks ago a guy came into the restaurant, reached over the back of the booth, and stole my moms purse. I jumped over the back of the booth and chased him down, body locked and slammed him into the window at the front of the restaurant. He dropped the purse and I let him go and he ran away. I started bjj at 49 because my back was so tight I was starting to not be able tie my shoes. So being able to jump over the booth was a big win. My kids were astonished. source, 2025 ↗

i’ll be more than happy to help you out, it all depends on where you live to tell you the truth. Brazilian jiu-jitsu gyms are pretty easy to find for the most part. The gym by me is less than five minutes away and they hold lessons basically every night with the exception for weekends. I’m lucky that my gym has been accommodating for my visual impairment needs but, if you want to educate your coaches or need some help. Definitely reach out to myself or some other individuals who practice the sport while visually impaired. They are YouTube demonstrations to help out, but, as long as you keep co source, 2024 ↗
