Thank for the reply! I’m gonna be busing Melbourne in a week before moving down, and Hotbox is on my list of gyms to try out. It looks like a really nice facility with solid instructors. I may be wrong but it seems like they have a bit of a heavier emphasis on nogi? Have you trained at Control BJJ? Control Jiu Jitsu, it is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym in Melbourne! Super welcoming environment and a great coaching staff. Our women's team is lead by a world champion black belt, she's awesome. Not sure what part of the East Coast you are on. But if yiu are close to Melbourne, FL, then I suggest Wade Rome, Control Jiu Jitsu. One of the early pioneers of BJJ here in America, Co-founder of American Top Team, and is active and respected in the BJJ community.
