What Reddit says about Gracie Barra Mount Lawley

3 verbatim community mentions from r/bjj and city subreddits, unedited, positives and negatives alike.

Isn't Combat Arts Institute in Mt Hawthorne? That's has has JJJ and BJJ I think. It's just north of Inglewood/Mt Lawley. Of course, I suspect you know about Jan De Jong in town. I've heard there's a couple of good ones in Morely, including KickAss MMA. Gladiator wrestling (just up the road in Beechboro) is a fantastic gym for wrestling. I'm meant to be doing a drop in at Rio gym with a few mates (Ossy Park); there's a bunch up that way too. JI (Judo international) is is in Karrinyup if you want something between jjj and bjj. There's lot of options NOR, in other words. source, 2020 ↗

positive

Gracie Barra is a global school started by a member(s) of the Gracie family who started Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. No idea who the coach is at this branch. May I ask why you're looking primarily looking for Japanese Ju Jutsu over BJJ? I was in the same boat until I learned about what they actually are and how they're different. source, 2020 ↗

A jiu jitsu studio has just opened in MT Lawley on Beaufort st - opposite the Inglewood Hoyel. I think it is called Gracie Barra. Not sure if it is any good but it is in the area source, 2020 ↗
