if you want to do martial arts, start with what you have around you. Different arts might have different approaches, but fundamentally, a kick is a kick, a punch is a punch and a throw is a throw. Like the kicks from Taekkyon? Do kickboxing and incorporate them. Like the head movement from boxing? Do muay thai and incorporate it. Like the takedowns wrestling has? Do bjj and throw them in. Limiting yourself to one art, especially one that you can't easily and immediately access is pretty pointless if you want to start your journey.
