I think Judo would be a great model. Black belt means you can demonstrate a wide array of technique and have a good practical basis to execute it against resisting opponents. Black belt does not mean that you can walk into Paris St. Germain and throw people. As a purple belt the r/bjj expectation for me is that if an ATOS blue belt competitor walks into my gym I should be chain subbing them, which is ridiculous, because I’m a 37 year old purple belt with 2 kids who trains like 3 times per week. source, 2023 ↗

1. Get back to the states regularly (to see family and eat our delicious food) to 'refresh' your soul, so to speak. Make this a regularly planned thing (e.g., every 6 months or so) and it can always be something you're looking forward to. 2. Meet people the way humans have for thousands of years: GET OUT THERE! Here's how: * Get on Meetup.com and find groups with any common connections (e.g., ex-pats in Paris, 'Emily In Paris Watchers', rollerblading groups, entrepreneurship groups, whatever). Just something that gets people together, in person, regularly. * You can also do this with any in source, 2023 ↗

I'll be 100% honest. I suck at bjj. That's it. I love bjj and practice every day as well as help with kids class but when it comes to actual competition I'm very mediocre. I also went up a category (this is - 64kg I weight 57kg). Paris told me he could feel the weight difference and I didn't even tell him about it xD but that's not really an excuse. Once he got the omoplata I just went into survival mode and tunneled making me basically a uke. I don't take it as a critic since I also told myself that I could've done maybe a bit more. I always want to learn and how to better my Jiu-jitsu but source, 2022 ↗

that is the look of a man who who is versed in intelligence from the fsb as to just how poor bidens condition is If putin asked biden to have a live summit regarding ukraine, dc would sooner burn kyiv to the ground than agree. Imagine the jiu jitsu if putin asked to discuss terms for peace with biden live, broadcast in front of the champs elysee in Paris, hosted by macron. He could ask for the public meeting in english and even if mainstream narrative didnt pick it up everyone would see that he asked anyway. Then putin could do whatever in ukraine and wag the finger and say biden could ha source, 2022 ↗

For sleep: - The bookshop Shakespeare & Company, just south of Notre Dame, sometimes let people sleep there for free if you are prepared to help out in the shop.for a couple of hours a day. They call these helpers "Tumbleweeds", tell them you want to be one, be friendly & enthusiastic about books. - Also try the Couchsurfing website to find a bed, you might meet some people that could help.you get a website started.
