I trained under the former European Kudo champ Graciano Lecci in Rome at the Otzuka Club and it was the most fun I ever had training in any one particular style with the possible exception being catch wrestling. I'll say this about Kudo. Coming from a traditional background as a child and then switching over to combat sports, I found Kudo to be really attractive because it offers the practicability of effective and proven combat styles like Muay Thai, boxing, and bjj while maintaining the traditional vibe and budo spirit of karate.
